Digital business cards for artists and makers
The work first, and everything else after it.
For an artist the work is the introduction. A card on a link opens on a gallery of it, lists what is for sale, says where you are showing next, and lets somebody ask about a commission without an email address.
See it filled in
Mateo Silva and Clayhouse Studio are made up. This is how a card for artists and makers reads with every line filled in. Pick a design to open it in the free maker with your own details.
What this card can carry
- PortfolioYour full body of work, wherever it is kept.
- GalleryA few pieces people can see without leaving the card.
- Products and servicesPrints and originals for sale, with their prices.
- EventsYour next show, open studio or market stall.
- PayOn the paid plansTakes payment for a print through your own payment link.
Sign up with your email from this page and your first card starts with these switched on.
A card that opens on the work
At a market or a fair people look, walk on and think about it over lunch. Whatever they scanned at the stall has to be able to show them the piece again, or the sale goes with the afternoon.
Stock changes constantly when everything is made by hand. A card you edit in the evening is honest about what is left, which saves the awkward message a week later.
The parts that matter for artists and makers
Every one of these is a section of the card you switch on and fill in yourself.
- The workPhotographed properly, because that is what is being bought.
- What is for salePieces and prices, updated the night something goes.
- Where you are showingThe fairs and markets you will be at, for anybody who wants to see it in person.
- A commission enquiryWhat they have in mind, in their own words, before any price is discussed.
Designs for artists and makers
Hand-drawn frames, bold stripes and earthy colours for the card that sits on the stall.
Print a starter sheet
Ten copies of Mateo Silva’s card, laid out to cut. Print one to check your printer and your paper, then make your own in the free maker and print that instead.
- A4 sheet (PDF)10 cards on one A4 page, 2 across and 5 down, with cut lines.
- US Letter, Avery-compatible (PDF)10 cards on one US Letter page, 2 across and 5 down, with cut lines, on the Avery-compatible 8371 / 5371 grid.
The US Letter sheet follows the grid Avery 8371 and 5371 sheets are cut to, so it is Avery-compatible. It is not made or endorsed by Avery.

Can I take payment through it?
The card can show the payment details you use; the arrangement itself stays between you and the buyer.
Is a gallery enough, or do I need a shop?
Many makers run on a gallery and a message. A shop is a bigger thing and this is not pretending to be one.
Can I print the code for my stall?
Print it as large as you like; the same code opens the card wherever it is stuck.
