Dot card alternatives, without the card
Their shop is built around the object; this page is about what it opens.
Dot sells cards with a chip, in colours, from its own shop. What a tap opens is a page, and that page is what this site makes: your own link, a code that opens it, a lead form and a pass, with the first card free.
The object and the page it opens
Every one of these products is two things at once, and the shops differ in which half they put in the window. Theirs shows the card. It is a good-looking card and the colours are the point of it.
The half in this window is the page. It is the part that has your telephone number in it, the part that changes when you change jobs, and the part every phone can reach with a camera rather than a tap.
Dot and VisitingCards.store, row by row
Only the rows we could genuinely read on their own site are printed; the rest of the table is ours.

Everything in their column was read on Dot's own pages on 22 September 2026, and each row links the page it came from. Prices move, so check theirs there before you decide.
Their plan terms are drawn by a script we could not read the way a reader would, so only the two rows we could actually read are printed. Everything else on this page is about ours.
Dot compared with this site
If you know you want a card in a particular colour, buy it there: our print shop makes two NFC cards, frosted plastic and black aluminium, and no range of colours. Write your link to theirs afterwards; the two go together perfectly well.
What you get here in the meantime is the page itself, free, with its own address and its own code, plus the print-ready design if a paper card is all you actually needed.
Where Dot is the better choice
Two straightforward reasons to buy from them.
- Anyone whose first question is which colour the card should be: their store is built around the colours, and our two NFC cards come in frosted plastic and black aluminium only.
- A buyer who would rather pay once for a thing than hold a subscription at all.
The page, and how it is shared
Three ways people open it, and nothing to install for any of them.
Create your free card
Your own link, your details, and a QR code that opens it. Free to start.
Create your free card→QR code business card
A square code on the paper card that opens your details on their phone.
QR code business card→NFC business card
What a tap card is, what we do not sell, and what to write to a tag you own.
NFC business card→Digital business cards
Your card on its own link, saved to a phone in one tap and changed whenever you like.
Digital business cards→Questions about going without one
Will people know how to open my card?
They point a camera at the code or tap a link you sent. Both are things people already do a dozen times a week.
Can I add a chip later?
Any time. Your link does not change when you edit the card, so a tag written once keeps working for as long as the card exists.
What does the free card leave out?
A small line naming this site sits at the bottom of it. The plans page lists what a paid plan adds beyond taking that line off.
Is my card private until I am ready?
Nothing is public until you publish, and the address is yours from the moment you pick it.
Make the page first
It is the half that carries your details, and it costs nothing to have.
