Free business cards
Said exactly, so nothing surprises you at the download button.
Free business cards here means two things: the design and the print-ready download cost nothing and carry no watermark, and one hosted business card on your own link stays free for as long as you like, with a small line naming the site.
The two free things, and the line between them
The first is the maker. Type your details, choose a design, download a PDF, a PNG, a JPEG or a sheet of ten to print at home. No account, no email address, no watermark, no upgrade at the last step.
The second is the hosted card. Make an account and one card lives on your own link for as long as you like. It carries a small line saying it was made here, and a paid plan takes that line off.
The table below is read from the same rules the software enforces, not from a brochure. Where a paid feature is switched on for everybody while we are getting started, the table says so rather than pretending it is a permanent gift.
What to do with the free part
Every one of these needs no payment.

How to get a business card for nothing
Open the maker
No account is asked for and none is needed to reach the download.
Type and pick
Your details, a design, its colours and its lettering, and the size your printer uses.
Download the file
The print PDF, a picture of either side, or the sheet of ten for home printing. None of them carries a watermark.
Take the free link as well
Make an account and your card gets its own address and its own QR code, free for as long as you like.
Questions about the free plan
Are the downloads really free, with no watermark?
Yes. The maker asks for no account and the file you download is the real print file: 300 DPI, a 3 mm bleed and crop marks, with nothing stamped across it.
What does the free hosted card include?
One card at your own address, its QR code, and the print-ready files. It carries a small line naming the site. The table above lists every difference as the software enforces it today.
Will you ask for a card number later?
Not for the free plan. You are asked to pay only when you choose a paid plan yourself, and the price is shown with the amount charged and how often before you agree to it.
How many free business cards can I print?
As many as you can print. The file is yours; there is no per-card charge and no limit on how often you download it.
Why is anything free at all?
Because the design and the print file cost us almost nothing to give you, and because most people who need a card every day end up wanting the parts that are paid for.
