Stopping updates from a card
Anyone who got a cardTap Turn off notifications on the card, switch them off in your phone's settings, or remove the card from your home screen.
On the card you were sent: Turn off notifications from
Last updated
On the card
Open the card the same way you turned notifications on: on iPhone, from its home-screen icon.
Tap the button that starts Turn off notifications from, followed by the owner's name.
This stops that one card. If you kept a company's page and a person's card from the same company, each card has its own button, and turning one off leaves the other on.
In your phone's settings
- iPhone: open Settings, then Notifications, find the card by its name and switch notifications off. Removing the card's icon from your home screen stops them too.
- Android with Chrome: open the card in Chrome, tap the icon beside the address, and switch notifications off for it.
Wallet passes and WhatsApp
Updates and alerts on a wallet pass stop when you remove the pass from your wallet: see Removing a pass from your wallet. WhatsApp messages come only after you have written to the card's owner; to stop them, tell the owner, or block the chat in WhatsApp.
