The digital business card app people keep on their phone

Your card on its own address, one tap from their home screen, and still able to reach them after you have met.

A digital business card app is your card as a page on your own address that people keep on their phone's home screen like an app. From there it can send them notifications you write, take their details through a form and save your contact.

The card as a visitor sees it. The first thing after your name is the invitation to keep it.
In plain words

What is a digital business card app?

It is your business card as a page on an address of your own, such as yourname.visitingcards.store. Anybody can open it from a link or a QR code, on a phone or a computer, with nothing to download and no account to make.

The difference is what happens next. The card asks the person holding it to keep it: on an Android phone an Install button puts it on the home screen, and on an iPhone or an iPad the card shows the two taps that do the same. From then on your card sits among their apps and opens straight to you.

Once it is there, the card can ask whether they would like updates from you. Only a person who taps yes ever receives one, and what you send appears on their phone like a message from any other app. That is the part a paper card cannot do: it keeps working after the meeting.

No setup to learn

Opens on every phone, stays on the ones that keep it

Nothing comes from an app store. The card opens in the browser a phone already has, and the phone's own home screen keeps it.

What it does for you

What your card does once it is on their phone

The card as a visitor sees it. The first thing after your name is the invitation to keep it.

Kept on their home screen, like an app

The first and biggest thing on your card, straight after your name and your main button, is the invitation to keep it. Android phones get an Install button; iPhones and iPads get the two taps, drawn for the phone in the visitor's hand. Every phone that keeps your card is counted.

  • An Install button wherever the phone offers one
  • The steps for iPhone and iPad, shown on the card itself
  • Your card opens from their home screen, straight to you
Write a notification and see it on a lock screen before it goes.

Notifications you write, on their lock screen

When somebody keeps your card, it asks whether they would like updates from you. If they say yes, you can write to them from your dashboard: one person, everybody who came from one QR code, or everybody who kept your card. The words are yours, and so is the moment.

  • Only people who said yes receive anything
  • A thank-you and a follow-up series that send themselves once you switch them on
  • Twenty message credits every month on Pro, and credit packs that never expire
Everybody who wrote to you through your card, and the phones that kept it.

Your details to them, theirs to you

Save contact puts your name, number, email and company into their phone's contacts in one tap. The form under it lets them send you theirs, and every one is kept; with Pro you read them in your People list. Every view, tap and scan is counted, for each QR code, each country and each day.

  • Save contact on every card
  • A form for their name and number, with email, company and a message if you ask for them
  • Tracked links and QR codes, each with its own count

Questions about the digital card

Do people need to download an app to keep my card?

No. Your card opens in the browser their phone already has. Keeping it on the home screen takes one tap on most Android phones and two on an iPhone, and nothing comes from an app store.

How do my notifications reach people?

When somebody keeps your card, the card asks whether they want updates. If they say yes, what you send appears on their phone like a message from any other app, and tapping it opens your card. On an iPhone the card has to be on the home screen first, which is why it asks for that first.

Can I choose who gets a notification?

Yes: one person, everybody who came from one of your QR codes, everybody who kept your card, or everybody holding your wallet pass. Each message to each person uses one credit.

What happens when my details change?

You change them once, in your dashboard, and your card shows the new details the next time anybody opens it. A short note telling the people who kept your card what changed is written for you, ready to send.

Is there a free plan?

Yes. The free plan gives you one card with your name, your email and your phone number, and a form where people can leave you their details. Pro unlocks every field and design, the notifications and the rest of this page.

Does my card work on a computer?

Yes. It opens in any browser, so a person on a laptop sees the same card, can save your contact and can send you their details.
