Lead capture on your digital card
The people you meet can hand you their details as easily as you hand them yours.
Lead capture is the short form on your business card where people leave their name and phone number, and their email, company or a message if you ask for them. Every reply is kept, and Pro lists them to call, message or download.
What is lead capture on a digital card?
It is a small form under your details on your business card. By default it asks for a name and a phone or WhatsApp number, because that is what most people will give you; you can add their email, their company and a message, and write a line of your own above it.
What they send is kept at once, on every plan. After the form, your card can offer them a WhatsApp chat with you, so the first message comes from them and the conversation is already open when you reply.
The form is on every plan, and every message is kept on every plan. Pro shows you everybody who wrote, adds the download of the list as a spreadsheet and the list of phones and computers that opened your card.
Where your leads come from
Anybody who opens your card can use the form, whichever way they reached it, with nothing to install on their side.
The form asks for
- A name
- A phone or WhatsApp number
- An email, if you ask
- A company, if you ask
- A message, if you ask
In your dashboard
- The People list, on Pro
- A search by name or number
- Reminders about one person
- A spreadsheet download
What lead capture does for you
A form people actually finish
Two boxes by default, a name and a number, because a short form is one people finish. Add the email, company or message boxes if you want them, and a line of your own above the form to say why they should write.
- A name and a phone number by default
- Email, company and a message when you ask for them
- A line of your own above the form
Everybody who wrote, in one list on Pro
The People screen lists everybody who sent you their details on Pro. Across the top are counts every account sees: the contacts saved from your card, the phones that kept it and the phones that allow updates. Search the list for a name or a number when you need somebody again.
- Everybody who wrote to you, kept on every plan
- A search by name or number
- The counts that matter, across the top
Follow up, or keep a note
Somebody who wrote from a phone that kept your card can receive your follow-up series on its own. For anybody else, set a reminder to yourself about them. And download the whole list as a spreadsheet to take it wherever you work.
- The follow-up series for people whose phone kept your card
- Reminders to yourself about one person
- The list as a spreadsheet, on Pro
Swapping details, on paper and on your card
The same handshake, with a better ending.
| A paper card | The form on your card | |

| Getting their details | You ask for their card and hope they have one | They type a name and a number on yours |
| Where the details go | A pocket, then a drawer | Kept at once, and listed in People on Pro |
| Following up | When you remember | A follow-up series, or a reminder to yourself |
| Finding somebody later | Sorting through a stack | A search by name or number |
| Taking the list elsewhere | Typing it all out | Download it as a spreadsheet |

Is the form on the free plan?
Yes. The form is on every plan, and every message is kept. Reading them and downloading the list are part of Pro.
What does the form ask for?
A name and a phone or WhatsApp number by default. You can add email, company and a message, and write a line of your own above the form.
Can I download my leads?
Yes, on Pro. The People screen downloads the list as a spreadsheet file that opens in any spreadsheet program, and every download is recorded.
Do people have to keep my card to use the form?
No. Anybody who opens your card can send you their details. Keeping the card on their phone as well is what lets your follow-up notifications reach them.
Where do the details people send me appear?
In your dashboard, on the People screen (reading them is part of Pro), and nowhere on your card. They belong to the people who gave them to you, which is why every download of the list is recorded.
Let the people you meet write back
Keep the form on and share your card. Every message is kept, and with Pro you open People to see who wrote.
