Changing your password

1. Open Settings and find Change your password.

2. Type the password you use now in Current password.

3. Type the new one in New password, at least 10 characters, and again in New password again.

4. Press Change password. The top of the screen says Your password is changed.

We ask for the current password first, so nobody who finds your screen unlocked can change it. Once it is changed, we email you to say so.

If it says no

• That is not your current password. Check it and try again. Forgotten it? Sign out and use Forgot your password? on the sign-in page. See I forgot my password.
• The two new passwords are not the same. Type the new one again in both boxes.
• A line asking you to use at least 10 characters for the new password. Choose a longer one and type it in both boxes.
