Visiting Cards.Store

Why do I need to confirm my email, and how?

All plans

Confirming proves the email is yours: until you do, you cannot sign in with your password or publish your card, so open our email and press Continue.

From the link in the email that confirms your address: the Continue button

Last updated

When you sign up with your email and a password, we email you a link. The email is called "Confirm your email for VisitingCards.store" and comes from hello@visitingcards.store.

How to confirm

  1. Open the email and press the link in it.

  2. On the page that opens, press Continue.

  3. You are signed in, and your card builder opens, ready for your first card.

Opening the link does nothing on its own: only Continue confirms your email. The link works once, and only for a short while.

Why we ask

Publishing puts your card on the open web under your name, so we ask for one proof that the email address really is yours first. Until you confirm it:

  • you cannot sign in with your email and password: the sign-in page tells you to confirm your email first;
  • your card cannot be published.

If the link has run out

The page says This link has expired. Ask for a fresh link and use that one instead. See Sending the confirmation email again.

Good to know

Nothing in your inbox? Look in the spam folder: the email carries the word Continue. If you signed up with Google or Apple, there is nothing to confirm.
