Which card size should I choose?
All plansPrint Design draws four standard card sizes, and the size chosen on the screen is the one your downloads and Order these printed use.
In your dashboard: Your Card > Print Design > Card Dimensions
Last updated
Choose the size under Card Dimensions. There are four, each named with the places that use it:
- 85 x 55 mm: the UAE, the UK, Europe and most other countries.
- 3.5 x 2.0 inches (88.9 x 50.8 mm): the US and Canada.
- 90 x 54 mm: India.
- 91 x 55 mm: Japan.
Until you save a design, the screen starts on a size picked from the country on your account. Countries it has no size for start on 85 x 55 mm, the size used in most of the world, so always check Card Dimensions and change it if your printer uses another size. The canvas offers the same four under Card size.
The downloads and Order these printed use the size chosen on the screen at that moment, saved or not. Press Save this design to keep it: the screen then opens on that size next time.
Every size is drawn with 3 mm of extra artwork past the cut and a 3 mm safe area inside it: see Bleed and the safe area, in plain words.
Our print shop cuts eight sizes, these four among them. Order these printed keeps the size chosen here, whichever country the cards go to.
