Designing a printed card: a tour

Print Design is the paper half of your card. It starts from the details and the style of your digital card, so the card you hand over and the card on the phone say the same thing.

1. Open Print Design in the sidebar. The screen is called Physical Business Card Designer.

2. Look at your card in the preview, and switch sides with Card Front and Card Back (QR).

3. Change the words, the design, the size or the paper, then press Save this design.

What is on the screen

• The preview: your card as it will print, drawn with the 3 mm edge the printer cuts off. Tick Show the cut line and the safe area on the preview to see where the cut falls.
• Print Specifications: the card size under Card Dimensions, and the paper, sides and corners for an order from our print shop.
• Save this design, the downloads, and Order these printed.
• What it says: the words on the card, taken from your digital card. Change anything you want printed differently.
• Pick a design: every design as its own card, with its colours and, where it has a choice, its lettering.

At the top, Freeform Canvas opens the canvas, where you move every piece by hand, and Download PDF makes the print file straight away.

Designing and downloading are free on every plan, and the files carry no watermark.
