Sending a message to everyone holding your pass

A message sent from the Wallet screen goes to the people who hold your pass, and only to them. It lands in the message row on the front of the pass, and the phone shows it on the lock screen.

1. Open Wallet and scroll to Push Notifications via Wallet & My Card.

2. Under Target Audience the only choice is everyone holding your pass. Press Count them to see how many people it reaches today and what it costs.

3. Write the Notification Title, the first line people see.

4. Write the Message Body. Keep it to one or two sentences.

5. Leave On-Tap Destination empty to open your card, or type a web address that starts with https://.

6. Press the send button. It names how many people the message reaches.

On the pass, the title and the words are joined into one line of up to 200 characters. A long message is cut, so say it short.

• Only passes that are really on a phone are counted. A pass file nobody added is not.
• Anyone who has already had their message from you today is left out of the count, so you are never charged for a message that would not arrive. See How often can I put a message on somebody's pass?.
