Messages that send themselves

There are four, each on its own card, and each is off until you switch it on:

• Follow-up after we meet: three messages to somebody who has written to you, one straight away, one two days later and one a week later.
• When we have not spoken in a while: one message after 30 quiet days, and one more after 60.
• After an event: one message, the next morning, to the people who scanned the QR code you made for an event.
• Greetings at the holidays you pick: one greeting on each holiday you tick under Which days.

1. Open WhatsApp and the Messages that send themselves tab.

2. On a card, fill Way one, Way two and Way three for each message. A different one is picked each time, so people do not all get the same sentence.

3. Leave Stop the rest as soon as they answer ticked, so nobody gets a follow-up after they have replied.

4. Tick Switched on and press Save.

All three ways must be filled before a message can be switched on. You can use {name} for their first name, {holder} for yours and {card} for the address of your card.

• Follow-up after we meet and After an event start with the next person, not with the people you already know.
• When we have not spoken in a while and the holiday greetings are for the people you already know, from the moment you switch them on.
• Switch off stops it. Anyone part way through does not get the rest.

Holiday greetings

Under Which days, each holiday shows its next date and where the date comes from. A holiday we hold no date for is not offered: nothing is sent on a guessed date.

Tick the note Before you send this to everybody once, and the greetings go out by themselves on the day. Without it, each greeting is written for you on the day and waits on Send to everyone for you to start it.
