A message didn't match anybody: "Who is it?"
Pro + WhatsAppWhatsApp sometimes hides the number of the person who wrote, so the message waits in Who wrote? on the WhatsApp screen until you say who it is.
In your dashboard: People > WhatsApp > the Your number tab > the Who wrote? panel

WhatsApp does not always tell us the number of the person who wrote. When a message cannot be linked to one of your contacts, we never guess: it waits for you in the Who wrote? panel on the Your number tab, with what they wrote and when.
The panel only shows while there is such a message.
Read what they wrote under What they wrote, to work out who it is.
In the Who is it? list, choose the person. Each one shows their name and number.
Press Pair. The screen says Paired, and anything that was waiting for that person goes.
The list holds the people on People who gave you a phone number. If the person is not there, the box says so: they need to be on People with a phone number first.
