Digital business cards for teams

Every person on your team gets a card of their own on your company's address, in your company's look.

Digital business cards for teams put every person in your company on one address, each with their own card. You set the company look and lock what must not change, invite people by email, and hand a seat on when somebody leaves, links and contacts included.

Every person on the team, their card, and who runs their own design.
In plain words

What are digital business cards for teams?

A team account is a company on one address of its own, such as yourcompany.visitingcards.store, with a seat for each person. Every seat is a card at its own link under that address, with its own QR codes, its own contacts and its own numbers.

The address itself is your company page: your logo, your company name, a short about and your contact buttons, in the company's look. People can keep it on their phone's home screen like any card and say yes to your notifications, and every person's card can be kept and send notifications the same way. Switch on "Show our people on the company page" and it lists every published card on your team, each with its photo, name and title - everybody is listed, even a person who keeps their own card out of search, whose card itself stays out of search.

The owner of the team, and the admins the owner chooses, run it from the Team screen: they add seats, invite each person by email, fill in a seat's details before the person starts, and decide for each person whether they have a card in the company's fixed design or the full dashboard to design their own.

When somebody leaves, their seat is handed to the next person. The address, the QR codes already printed, the contacts gathered and the numbers stay with the seat, so nothing has to be printed again and nothing leaves with the person.

What the company sets and what each person keeps

Seats are paid for by the company, in blocks of five. Team pricing sets out what a seat costs.

The company sets

  • The address
  • The company page
  • The card design
  • The email signature template
  • Who has the full dashboard

Each person has

  • A card at their own link
  • Their own QR codes
  • Their own contacts
  • Their own email signature
What it does for you

What a team account does for a company

Every person on the team, their card, and who runs their own design.

A card for every person, on your address

Add a seat for each person and invite them by email; they set a password and land on their own card. Until they arrive you can fill in their details yourself, so the card is ready on their first day. The owner can change the company's address, and the old one keeps sending people to the new.

  • A seat for each person, at its own link
  • Invitations by email
  • A new address when the company needs one, the old one still leading to it
A member's card: the company's look, the person's own details.

One company look, or their own design

Lock a seat to the company's design and the person changes only their own details: name, job title, phone, email and the rest. Switch a person to the full dashboard and they design their own card with the same tools as anybody else.

  • A switch for each person
  • The email signature manager for the whole company
  • Message credits shared by the team: twenty a month for each paid seat
One seat: its details, its switch, and the hand-over.

Hand a seat on, keep everything

When somebody leaves, hand the seat to the next person. The link, the QR codes on the printed cards, the contacts and the numbers stay where they are, and the new person's details take the place of the old. The list of seats downloads as a spreadsheet whenever you need it.

  • The seat's link and QR codes stay the same
  • Contacts and numbers stay with the company
  • The list of seats as a spreadsheet

Four steps

How to set up cards for a team

Step 01

Start a team

Sign up for a team, choose the company address and pay for the seats you need, in blocks of five.

Step 02

Set the company look

Design the card once and choose what every seat shares. Keep a person on it, or switch them to the full dashboard.

Step 03

Invite your people

Add a seat for each person and send the invitation by email. They set a password and their card is live.

Step 04

Hand seats on as people change

When somebody leaves, hand their seat to the next person. The link and the QR codes stay, so nothing is printed again.

The rest of it

Questions about team cards

How many seats does a team need?

Seats come in blocks of five, so a team starts at five. Team pricing shows what a seat costs.

What is the company page?

The page at your company's own address: your logo, name, a short about and contact buttons. People can keep it on their phone like any card and get your notifications, and with "Show our people on the company page" switched on it lists your people's published cards.

Who sends notifications for a team?

The owner or an admin sends them for the company page and for everybody on the company design. A person you switch to the full dashboard sends their own.

Can a team member design their own card?

Yes, if you switch them to the full dashboard. Otherwise they change only their own details, and the design is the company's.

What happens to a person's contacts when they leave?

They stay with the seat, and so with the company. The next person on the seat takes over the same link, QR codes and numbers.

Can we change our company's address?

Yes. The owner of the team can change it from the Team screen, and people who use the old address are sent on to the new one.

Who can manage the team?

The owner of the team account and the admins the owner chooses.
