Showing a QR code on the card itself
ProSwitch on QR code on the card in My Card's Sections tab, and your card shows its own QR code, so someone in front of you can scan it from your screen.
In your dashboard: Your Card > My Card > the Sections tab > QR code on the card
Last updated
Open My Card and the Sections tab.
Turn on QR code on the card, at the top of the tab.
Press Publish (or Publish changes, once your card is live).
The code appears in a section of its own, headed Scan to open this card. Its place is the QR code row under The order of your card: move it up to show it sooner. Under Headings you can change its heading or switch the heading off.
The code opens your card's own address. A scan of it counts as a view of your card, not as a scan on Links & QR. For a code whose scans you can count, see Your card's own QR code vs a tracked QR code.
On the free plan this switch is greyed with the rest of the Sections panel, and a free card does not show this code. Your card's own QR code on Home is there on every plan.
Pro is $0.99 a month. See What does Pro include and cost?.
