Can I use an NFC tag or card?
All plansProYes: order our NFC cards with your address already on the chip, or write your card's address, or a tracked link, onto an NFC tag or card you own, and a tap opens your card.

An NFC card or tag holds a web address. When someone holds their phone against it, the phone opens that address. Our print shop makes two NFC cards, Frosted Transparent Plastic with NFC Chip and Anodized Black Matte Aluminum NFC, in packs of 25, 50 or 100, and we write your card's own address on every chip before we send them: see print-shop/print-options. If you already have a tag or card that can be written to, you can make it open your card yourself.
Choose the address to write. Your card's own address works on every plan: Copy Card Link on Home copies it. With Pro, make a tracked link for the tag on Links & QR and press Copy Link beside it, so its taps are counted on their own.
Open an app that writes NFC tags on your phone. Your phone's app store has several.
Choose to write a web address, paste the address you copied, and hold the tag against your phone to write it.
Test it: hold a phone against the tag. Your card should open.
A tap on a tag that holds a tracked link counts as a scan of that link, just like a QR scan. Nothing tells a tap from a scan, which is why NFC Smart Card Tap on Analytics reads not measured yet. Give the link a name you will recognise, such as NFC card, and choose Something else as its purpose.
Pro is $0.99 a month.
