Setting up your WhatsApp button

1. Open WhatsApp in your dashboard. You start on the Your number tab.

2. In WhatsApp Configuration, type your number in Target WhatsApp Phone Number, with your country code, like +971 50 123 4567.

3. Type the words people start the chat with in Default Pre-filled Inquiry Message, or pick one of the Quick Template Presets.

4. Press Save.

It is saved straight onto your card. The number is the same WhatsApp number as on My Card, so changing it on one screen changes it on the other.

The button shows on your card once your card is published and has a number. The pill at the top of the screen says so: Live Link Active when both are true, otherwise what is still missing.

• Direct WhatsApp Link shows the address the button opens, with Copy Link beside it.
• Under Instant Scan & Chat is a code that opens the chat with you when a phone camera points at it.
• Both are made from what you last saved, not from what is in the boxes right now.
