Testing your WhatsApp button

Press Test WhatsApp Chat at the top of the WhatsApp screen to open the chat exactly as a visitor would, or scan the code under Instant Scan & Chat with another phone.

In your dashboard: People > WhatsApp > the Test WhatsApp Chat button

  1. Save your number and message first. See Setting up your WhatsApp button.

  2. At the top of the WhatsApp screen, press Test WhatsApp Chat. WhatsApp opens with a chat to your number and your message typed in.

  3. Or point another phone's camera at the code under Instant Scan & Chat.

  4. Or press Copy Link under Direct WhatsApp Link and open the link on another phone.

All three use what you last saved. If you have changed the boxes since, press Save first.
