The WhatsApp button vs the WhatsApp add-on

They are two different things.

• The WhatsApp button is part of Pro. It sits on your card, and a tap opens the other person's WhatsApp with a chat to your number and your message already typed. They only press send.
• The WhatsApp add-on connects your own WhatsApp number. Then messages can go out from your number: a reply with your card when somebody writes to you, follow-ups, one message to everyone, and reminders. It is an add-on to Pro, $4.99 a month on top.

You can use the button for as long as you like without the add-on. The add-on only ever messages people who have written to you first.

The WhatsApp screen

Open WhatsApp in your dashboard. It has five tabs:

• Your number: the button's number and message, and connecting your number. See Setting up your WhatsApp button and Connecting your number.
• Messages that send themselves: follow-ups and greetings. See Messages that send themselves.
• Send to everyone: one message to everybody who wrote to you. See Sending one message to everyone.
• Reminders: a message to one person on a day you pick, and birthdays. See Birthday, anniversary and other reminders.
• What has been sent: every message in and out of your number. See What has been sent.

The last four tabs, and connecting a number, need the add-on. Without it they are shown greyed, so you can see what they do.
