A tour of the card builder (My Card)

Open My Card from the sidebar of your dashboard. At the top is a bar that tells you where your card stands. Below it are the tabs, and on a computer your card sits beside them in a phone.

The bar at the top

• Status shows the save: Saving in a moment…, Saving…, Saved, or Not saved — check your connection.
• A small pill says Live on web, Draft or Hidden.
• On a computer, Open live card opens your published card in a new tab.
• Save draft saves your changes straight away.
• Publish puts your card on the web. Once it is live, the button reads Publish changes.

Saving

You never have to remember to save. A moment after you stop typing, your draft saves itself and the status says Saved. If you try to close the tab while a change is still waiting, your browser asks you first.

Saving is not publishing. Everything you change stays a private draft until you press Publish or Publish changes. See How do I publish my card?.

The tabs

• Settings & Look: the header style, your brand colour, your photo and logo, your main details, and ADDITIONAL FIELDS & MODULES, where every field can be found.
• Designs & Themes: your pictures, the cover style, the brand colour, the design, colour sets, light or dark, lettering and shapes, and a printed card to match.
• Profile: who you are, from your name to your headline.
• Contact: phones, emails, addresses, websites, your own links, opening hours and an emergency contact.
• Socials: your social links.
• Showcase: a gallery, services, products, videos, audio, brochures, testimonials, your team, questions, events and a promo code.
• Business: business facts, such as a licence number, awards and skills.
• Extras: the links behind buttons like Book a time and Menu, a chat app, guest Wi-Fi, ways to pay you and embeds.
• Buttons: your big button and the others, in order.
• Sections: what shows on your card and in what order, and the Stay in touch form.
• All Panels: every tab on one long page.

On every tab except Settings & Look and All Panels, Back to My Card (Settings & Look) takes you back, and the line beside it says which panel you are on.

Some boxes only appear once you ask for them. If a tab says Nothing here yet, pick the field from the list on Settings & Look and its row opens on the right tab. See Finding a field quickly.

On a phone

On a phone your card is not beside the tabs. Press View Interactive Card Preview at the bottom of the builder to open it over the editor. See Previewing your card before you publish.
