Adding or changing a product

1. Open Store and press Add a product on the Products tab. To change a product, press Edit under it instead.

2. Type its Name.

3. Type the Price. A price of 0 makes it free: its order completes with no pay step.

4. If you like, type a Compare-at price: an earlier price, shown struck through beside the price.

5. Choose its Kind: Digital download, Physical, Service or Membership. The line under each says how the buyer gets it.

6. Add up to four Pictures, square and up to 5 MB each, and a Description.

7. Paste Its own payment link (optional): the address of your payment page for this product. See below.

8. Press Save, or Cancel to leave without saving.

The four kinds

• Digital download: you deliver it yourself after payment. The store keeps no files.
• Physical: the buyer gives a delivery address at checkout, and you send it.
• Service: you get in touch after payment to arrange it.
• Membership: you start the membership after payment.

How it is paid for

A product with a price needs somewhere to pay: its own payment link, or your store's Store-wide payment link (optional) on the Settings tab. Without either, a line under the product says so and it stays out of your store.

A product's own link charges its own fixed price. With a store-wide link, the whole cart is paid at once and promo codes work. See How people pay you: your own payment links.

The other boxes

• SKU (optional): your own code for the product, shown on its orders.
• Stock (optional): leave it empty not to count. It goes down with each order, and at 0 the product shows Sold out.
• Feature in my store: puts the product first in your store, marked Featured. The store block on your card shows up to three products, featured ones first.
• Show in the store: untick it to keep the product out of your store without deleting it.
