Promo codes for your store and your events

Pro + StorePro + EventsPro + Consultations

Make a code for a percentage or an amount off; it works only where people pay through a link that lets them type the amount, never on a fixed-price link.

In your dashboard: Your Card > Store > the Promo codes tab

A promo code takes a percentage or an amount off. Buyers type it at checkout in your store, and people type it when they register for a paid ticket to one of your events. 1-on-1 sessions take no codes.

Take care

A code works only where people pay through a link that lets them type the amount: your store's Store-wide payment link (optional), or an event's The event's payment link. A fixed-price link charges its own set amount, so a code cannot be used on a product's or a ticket type's own link. Without the right link, the Promo codes tab says so, and the checkout says codes cannot be used instead of offering the box.

In your store

  1. Open Store and the Promo codes tab.

  2. Under New promo code, type the Code: 3 to 24 letters or digits.

  3. Choose the Kind, Percentage off or Amount off, and fill in Percentage (1-100) or Amount off.

  4. If you like, set an End date (optional) and Total uses (optional), and tick products under Only on these products (optional).

  5. Press Create code.

For an event

  1. Open Events, press Manage under the event, and open its Promo codes tab.

  2. Under Make a code, type the Code. It is saved in capitals.

  3. Choose what It takes off, A percentage or an amount, and fill in Percentage off or Amount off.

  4. If you like, set How many times it can be used and Ends (optional), in the event's own time zone, and tick ticket types under Only on these ticket types (optional).

  5. Press Make the code.

Someone who registers with a code pays through the event's own link, even when their ticket type has a link of its own.

Switching a code off

Each code shows what it takes off, when it ends and how often it has been used. Switch off stops it for now and Switch on brings it back; Delete removes it. Orders and registrations that already used a code keep their price, and cancelling a store order gives the code's use back.

Promo codes come with the Store add-on and the Events add-on, each $0.99 a month on top of Pro.
