The Events screen, and managing one event
Pro + EventsEvents lists your events with their registrations, and each event's Manage page has tabs for its attendees, ticket types, promo codes, emails, door staff and settings.
In your dashboard: Your Card > Events > Manage under an event
Last updated
Open Events in the menu, under Your Card.
Each event has its own page at your card's address, where people register and get a ticket pass with a QR code. A ticket can be free or paid, and paid ones are paid on your own payment page. See How people pay you: your own payment links.
Your events page
The Your events page panel shows the address of the page that lists your events, with Copy, Preview and Show the QR code. It opens to visitors once an event is published and still to come.
The list
Three numbers sit at the top: Events, with how many are upcoming, Registrations, the tickets that hold a place across all your events, and Sales marked paid. Under them, Upcoming, Past, Drafts and Cancelled sort your events. An event moves to Past by itself when it ends.
Each event shows its cover, whether it is in person or online, its state, when and where it is, how many have registered out of its places (with a bar), and how many are waiting for approval or awaiting payment. Under it:
- Manage opens the event's own page in your dashboard, described below.
- Edit opens its editor. See Creating an event, step by step.
- The green Check in opens the scanner for it. See Checking people in at the door.
Create an event, at the top, opens an empty editor.
Managing one event
The top shows the event's state, when and where it is, and its buttons: Check in, Edit, Open the event's page once it is published, Publish for a draft, and Take back to draft, which closes the event's page to visitors and keeps the tickets already issued.
- Overview: Registrations, Checked in, Awaiting payment, Waiting for approval and Sales marked paid, and how each ticket type is selling.
- Attendees: each registration with its tickets and its answers to your questions, a search, and Download CSV. Here you approve, mark paid and cancel, and the waiting list is at the bottom. See Ticket passes: what people get when they register and The waiting list for a sold-out ticket type.
- Tickets: each ticket type with how many are sold and issued. Edit ticket types opens the editor's Tickets step.
- Promo codes: codes for paid tickets. See Promo codes for your store and your events.
- Broadcast: emails the people registered for the event, from your own email account. See Emailing everyone registered, from your own email account.
- Staff: door links for the people who check tickets with you. See Checking people in at the door.
- Settings: Open the settings step of the editor, Wallet tickets (the switch that lets valid tickets be added to Apple Wallet and Google Wallet), Cancel the event and Delete the event.
Cancelling or deleting an event
Cancel the event cancels every ticket and emails every attendee, after you confirm. Refunds are between you and them. Delete the event removes it for good, and only while nobody has registered: an event with tickets can be cancelled, not deleted.
On your card
While you have an event published and still to come, your card shows your upcoming events in a block of their own, up to three of them. See Turning sections on and off, and their order.
Events are an add-on to your plan: the Events add-on is $0.99 a month, on top of Pro at $0.99 a month. Without it the Events screen is shown greyed, so you can see what it does. See The add-ons: location alerts, packs, WhatsApp, store, events, bookings.
