The add-ons: location alerts, packs, WhatsApp, store, events, bookings

Each add-on needs a plan (Pro or Pro + Wallet) and joins the plan you already pay for, so it stays one bill and one invoice; the one-place location alert, sold by the month, has a charge of its own. Each is a card under Add-ons on Billing, with its price, what it includes and what it needs. A card you cannot add yet is greyed, with a lock and one line saying what it needs.

An add-on is charged to your card on file in one press. With more than one card saved, Pay with on the add-on lets you choose which card pays, with the card in use already chosen; because the add-on joins your plan, that card pays your plan from then on too. See How do I pay?.

Wallet pass

Your card as a pass in Apple Wallet and Google Wallet comes with the Pro + Wallet plan, not as an add-on. It is the Pro + Wallet card under Core Subscriptions. See What does Pro include and cost? and What is a wallet pass?.

Location alerts

A message on the lock screen when somebody who saved your wallet pass is near a place you choose. It needs Pro + Wallet, and it is not a message: the phone raises it by itself, so it uses none of your message credits. It is the Location alerts card, where you choose one place or up to 10 places. One place is $4.99 a month.

Up to 10 places is $3.33 a month.

Already have one of them? The Location alerts card has Change to up to 10 places (or Change to 1 place). One press: the new choice is paid now with the card you pick under Pay with, and the part of the old one you have not used comes off your next bill. Every place you pinned is kept. Moving down to 1 place, your pass keeps alerting near your first place, and the card names the ones that stop before you press - they stay saved, and moving back brings them back.

WhatsApp

Messages from your own WhatsApp number to people who have written to you there first. It is the WhatsApp card, and what goes out is set up on your WhatsApp screen. See What the WhatsApp add-on does.

Store, Events and Consultations

Three add-ons, one for each way of selling from your card: the Store card opens your store, the Events card opens events with QR tickets and the door scanner, and the Consultations card opens 1-on-1 sessions people book with you. Without its add-on, a screen is shown greyed. See Your store: the Store screen, tab by tab.

Each is $0.99 a month on top of your plan.

Adding one

1. Open Billing and find the add-on's card.

2. Press its button. For location alerts, choose one place or up to 10 places first, then press Add location alerts.

One press. You are charged now for the rest of this period to your card on file, and it renews with your plan. If your bank asks for an extra check, the add-on switches on once the payment goes through. See My bank asked for an extra check.
