What do I get without paying?#
One card at your own address carrying three things: your name, your email and your phone number, in the colours you choose - the brand colour, a colour set, light or dark. With it you get the card's own QR code, the Save contact button, the Stay in touch form (people can leave you a message or their details, and every one is kept; you read them on People with Pro), the print-ready files with no watermark, install on phones, your email signatures and your meeting backgrounds. The card carries a small line saying it was made with VisitingCards.store. Everything else - every other field, picture, button, the design, the header style and the type on the card, reading and downloading the messages people leave you and the list of phones and computers that opened your card, sending notifications and the automatic messages, more links, and Analytics - is part of Pro. The wallet pass comes with the Pro + Wallet plan, and location alerts, WhatsApp and selling from your card (the Store, Events with ticket passes and the scanner for the door, and 1-on-1 Consultations) are add-ons to a plan. A team is bought by the seat on the Team screen, and its seats include Pro. You still see all of it: those screens and controls are shown in your dashboard, greyed and marked Pro feature (or Add-on), with a line at the top saying what Pro costs and an Upgrade button to Billing. The HTML code of your signature is greyed the same way. Pro is $0.99 a month.
What does Pro cost?#
Pro is $2.97 every 3 months ($0.99/month). Paying for a whole year instead is $9.99 a year ($0.83/month). Both are on your Billing screen with the amount that will be charged printed beside the monthly figure, so there is no arithmetic to do in your head.
Why is it billed every three months rather than monthly?#
Because at this price a monthly charge costs more in card fees than it is worth, and a quarterly one keeps the price where it is. Every screen that shows the monthly figure shows the charged amount and how often it is taken beside it.
How do I pay?#
Billing in the sidebar, choose the plan, and you are taken to a secure checkout run by Stripe. We never see or store your card number. Only the account's owner can start a checkout. To change the card any time, press Change card under Your cards on Billing: the new card becomes the one in use for your plan and everything on it, your old card stays saved (a card that pays nothing can be removed), and when you add an add-on, buy seats or change to Pro + Wallet, Pay with lets you pick which saved card pays - it then pays your plan from now on too. If your bank declines the card on such a purchase, nothing is bought and nothing is charged: the same screen says so in one line with a Use another card button, and the new card you type there pays for it at once. If your bank only wants to check the payment, you answer it on the secure payment page.
Which currency am I charged in?#
Prices are shown in your own money where we can, with the US-dollar price beside it in brackets; where we cannot, and in the United States, they are shown in plain US dollars. An account in the United Arab Emirates is charged in dirhams, with the 5 per cent VAT inside the price. Everyone else is charged from the US-dollar price, and the payment page shows the exact amount before you press pay - nothing is taken until you do. Add-ons and seats are charged with your plan, in your plan's own money: dirhams for a plan in the United Arab Emirates, and from the dollar price in brackets for everyone else.
Is tax added on top?#
For an account billed in the United Arab Emirates, 5 per cent VAT is included in the price shown - not added at the end - and the invoice shows the VAT line separately. For other countries the invoice is marked as outside the scope of that tax and carries the amount charged. Every invoice states exactly what was charged and what part of it was tax. To have your company's VAT number on your invoices, type it under VAT number on the Billing screen and press Save - any VAT or tax number, in the UAE your TRN, using letters, numbers, spaces or dashes; without one the invoice says N/A.
Where are my invoices?#
On the Billing screen, each with its number, date and amount, and a Download PDF button. They are proper tax documents from Anunzio International FZC with the company's registration number on them, numbered in sequence from the company's own book.
Do you email the invoice?#
Yes, as soon as the document has its number. It goes to the billing email you gave at checkout, with a copy to the account owner when that is a different address. If a send fails we try again. The emailed copy and the one you download are rendered from the same stored record, so the two can never say different things.
What are the add-ons?#
Extra things that sit on the same subscription as your plan: location alerts, WhatsApp, the Store, Events and Consultations (and the notification pack, bought once). Each has its own card on Billing, and each shows the real catalogue price; a card you cannot add yet is greyed and says what it needs. The wallet pass is not an add-on: it comes with the Pro + Wallet plan. Location alerts move between 1 place and up to 10 places in one press on their card, the unused part of the old choice coming off your next bill and every place you pinned kept. Because they join the subscription you already have, it stays one charge and one invoice.
What is a credit pack and when would I buy one?#
Two hundred message credits, bought once, for $9.99 once. They never expire and they are spent only after your monthly credits are gone. Buy one when you want to message more people in a month than your twenty monthly credits reach.
When does it renew, and will you warn me?#
On the same date each period, shown on your Billing screen beside the plan. The charge is taken automatically from the card you used.
How do I cancel?#
Cancel at the end of this period, on the Billing screen. You keep everything until the period you have paid for runs out, and there is a Keep my plan button if you change your mind before then. Before it goes through you are offered one month on us; say no thanks and it cancels, and nobody argues.
What happens to my card after I cancel?#
It stays live. The small made-with line comes back, your leads and numbers stay where they are, and anybody who writes to you after the plan ends is kept and shown to you when the plan is back. Wallet passes are retired ninety days later. Nothing is deleted because a plan ended.
What if a payment fails?#
Your card goes onto the Free plan the moment the payment fails, and we email you at once, naming everything that is off until it is paid. When the payment was for an add-on on its own bill - the one-place location alert, for example - only that add-on stops: your plan and everything else stay as they are, and the add-on comes back by itself the moment the payment goes through. Nothing is deleted: your card, your settings and everything people send you are kept. On Billing, press Use another card: the secure payment page saves a new card, we pay the bill with it at once, and once it goes through it pays your plan from then on and Pro comes back. If the bank refuses the new card too, Billing says so and nothing else changes - your plan stays on the card it was on. Update card is still there: it opens the bill on the payment page, and the card you pay with there pays your plan from then on. Stripe also tries the card again over about a week; if it never goes through, the plan ends and the card stays on the Free plan. You can start Pro again at any time.
Do you give refunds?#
There is no general money-back guarantee, and the Refunds page states the position in full. Where consumer law gives you a right to change your mind - the fourteen days in the European Union and the United Kingdom, for example - that right applies and is set out there too. If something on our side went wrong, write to us and we will make it right.
Can I switch between paying quarterly and yearly?#
Yes, from the same two choices on the Billing screen. The switch is priced from the part of the period you have already paid for, so you are never charged twice for the same days.
Can somebody else on my team pay?#
Only the account's owner can start a checkout or change a plan. A member of a company account never sees the billing screens at all.
