The emails we send about your plan

All plans

We email the account's owner when a plan starts, when a payment is received or fails, before each renewal, when you cancel or take a month on us, when a plan ends, and when Pro comes back.

In the emails we send you: the subject line, such as Payment received

Last updated

Every one of these goes to the account owner's email, once, and carries one link: your own Billing page. Replies reach us.

  • Welcome to VisitingCards.store: when you sign up, with your card's address.
  • Your Pro plan has started: when a plan begins, with what it costs and when it renews. For a company it names your company seats.
  • Payment received: with the amount and the period it covers. Your numbered tax invoice follows in a separate email. See Do you email my invoices?.
  • Your payment did not go through: the moment your bank or card says no. The subject starts with what has stopped (for example, Your store is closed), and the email lists everything that is off until it is paid, with the date we will try again when there is one, and how to put it right. See What happens if a payment fails?.
  • Your Pro plan renews on (the date): a reminder, 7 days before a yearly renewal and 3 days before the others, except the one-place location alert, charged each month, which has none. See When does my plan renew, and will you remind me?.
  • Your next month is on us: when you take the one month off your next bill instead of cancelling.
  • Your plan ends on (the date): when you cancel, with how to keep it. See How do I cancel?.
  • Your Pro plan has ended: when the plan stops, after a cancel or when every try at a failed payment has failed.
  • Your payment went through and Pro is back: when a payment that had failed goes through.

Each of these is sent once, however many times the same event reaches us. Messages about a credit pack, your account and your password are separate.
