Which currency am I charged in?

All plans

Prices show in your own money with the US-dollar price in brackets; the UAE is charged in dirhams, everyone else from the dollar price, and the payment page shows the exact amount first.

Prices show in your own money, based on where you are, with the US-dollar price beside it in brackets: a figure in euros, say, with the dollar figure after it. Where we cannot show your money, and in the United States, they are in US dollars.

What your card is charged in

  • An account in the United Arab Emirates is charged in UAE dirhams, with the 5% VAT included in the price. See Is tax added to the price?.
  • Everyone else is charged from the US-dollar price in the brackets. The payment page shows the exact amount before you pay, and nothing is taken until you do.
  • Add-ons and seats have no payment page of their own. Under their figures Billing says Charged with your plan, from the dollar price in brackets.

Which money Billing uses is worked out for you, in this order: your billing country, what your card is already charged in, where you are now, then the country you signed up from. Nobody sets it by hand.

Your invoice states exactly what was charged, in the money it was charged in. See Where are my invoices?.
