How company seats are billed

A seat is $0.79 a month, against $0.99 a month for Pro on your own: company cards are cheaper per person. There are at least 5 seats on a team, in blocks of 5.

The seats include Pro: an account on the free plan has Pro for as long as its seats are paid for, and needs nothing else first.

Where seats are bought

On the Team screen, not on Billing. Billing's Corporate & Enterprise panel shows the seat price and two example team sizes, with Choose how many seats and Open Team to take you there. See Buying seats and starting your team.

How they are charged

• Your first seats are paid on a secure payment page, or, when you already pay for Pro on the same schedule, they join that plan and your card on file is charged for the rest of the period.
• After that the seats renew with your plan, on the same bill and the same invoice.
• More seats part-way through are charged at once for the rest of the period; fewer seats come off your next bill. See Adding or removing seats.

In any money but US dollars, Billing says under the seat price that seats are charged with your plan, from the dollar price in brackets. See Which currency am I charged in?.
