Ticket passes: what people get when they register
Pro + EventsEveryone who registers gets a pass with its own QR code; it reads Valid, Awaiting payment, Waiting for approval or Cancelled, and you open it from the Attendees tab.
In your dashboard: Your Card > Events > Manage under an event > the Attendees tab

When someone registers on an event's page, each ticket gets a pass of its own: a page with the event, their name, the ticket type, a ticket number and a QR code to show at the door. The email we send them opens it. The pass also has the time and the place with a map link, ways to add the event to a calendar, and a button to print it or save it as a PDF.
What a pass says
- Valid: they are in. A free ticket is valid at once.
- Awaiting payment: a paid ticket, until you mark it paid. The pass has a button to pay you on your payment page.
- Waiting for approval: the event needs your yes first. The pass shows no QR code until you approve it.
- Cancelled: the ticket no longer holds a place, and the pass shows no QR code.
For an online event, the link to join shows on the pass only while the ticket is valid. Once someone is checked in, their pass says when.
In Apple Wallet and Google Wallet
If you switched on Tickets can be added to Apple Wallet and Google Wallet for the event, and your account is on the Pro + Wallet plan, a valid ticket's pass and its email carry the two wallet buttons. The ticket in the wallet has the same QR code, so the door scans it the same way. When you move the event, cancel it or cancel the ticket, the one in the wallet changes too, and it says Checked in once they are let in.
On the Attendees tab
Open Events, press Manage under the event and open Attendees. Each registration shows its tickets, each with its number, its state and View pass, which opens the pass in a new tab. From there:
- Approve or Decline a registration that is waiting for approval. The person gets an email either way.
- Mark paid once their money reaches you: the pass turns Valid and they get an email.
- Send the passes again from the same row, if someone cannot find their email.
- Cancel one ticket, after you confirm: the place goes back and they get an email.
The pills at the top show one group at a time: All, Valid, Awaiting payment, Waiting for approval, Cancelled and Checked in. The search box finds a name, an email or a ticket number.
When people cancel their own ticket
If you switched on Attendees may cancel their own ticket in the editor, the pass has a button to cancel it, up to the time you set before the start. The place goes back, and refunds are between you and them.
Events need the Events add-on, which is $0.99 a month on top of Pro.
