Add your signature to Apple Mail

All plans

Copy your signature, then paste it on a Mac under Mail's Settings and its Signatures tab, or on an iPhone or iPad under Settings, Mail and Signature.

In your dashboard: Your Card > Signatures > the Copy Signature for Email button > How to Install in Your Email Client

Last updated

First, on Signatures, press Copy Signature for Email.

On a Mac

  1. Open Mail, then Settings (Cmd+comma; called Preferences on older Macs), and the Signatures tab.

  2. Choose your email account and click the plus button (+) to add a signature.

  3. Untick Always match my default message font, so your signature keeps its own lettering.

  4. Paste your signature.

On an iPhone or iPad

  1. Open your dashboard on the iPhone or iPad itself, go to Signatures and press Copy Signature for Email there.

  2. Open the Settings app, then Mail, then Signature. On the newest versions, Mail is under Apps in Settings.

  3. Paste your signature.

The iPhone's signature box may keep your words and drop the pictures. See Using your signature in email apps on your phone.

The same steps are on the Signatures screen, under How to Install in Your Email Client, on its Apple Mail tab.
