My signature looks different in the email

The pictures or the QR code are missing

Your photo, your logo, the QR code and a banner are pictures that load when the email is opened. Many email programs hide pictures until the reader allows them, so at first the reader may see empty boxes or nothing. The words and the link to your card are always there.

Some layouts leave pictures out on purpose: minimal has none, and compact has only a small photo. If a picture is missing from your own preview, check your card has one: under Profile Photo or Company Logo the screen says so when it has not. Adding a photo or logo to your card comes with Pro. Only plain text arrived

If your signature arrived as lines of plain text, the box you pasted into takes text only, or it was pasted without its formatting. Copy it again with Copy Signature for Email and paste with the ordinary paste, not a paste that strips formatting.

The lettering or spacing is different

Every email program draws text in its own lettering. The Gmail, Outlook and Apple Mail tabs of Email Client Live Preview show each one. In Apple Mail on a Mac, untick Always match my default message font before you paste.

It shows old details

Your email program holds the copy you pasted. After you change your name, title, phone or photo on your card, copy your signature again and replace the old one.

It shows a picture that is not yours

If the screen says your photo or logo is a sample picture, it is one of our examples, and anything you copy carries it. With Pro, upload your own in My Card first. See Adding your photo, logo and cover picture.

On the free plan, untick Profile Photo or Company Logo so the sample is left out of your signature. Your own photo and logo come with Pro.
