Who adds the pass: you or your visitor?

The person who opens your card adds it. Near the top of your card, above your name, they see Add to Apple Wallet and Add to Google Wallet. One tap, and their phone offers to keep the pass.

Nothing can put a pass on somebody's phone without them. The wallet app always asks the person first.

The two buttons show on your card only when all of this is true:

• your account is on the Pro + Wallet plan;
• your pass is finished and published (see Publishing your pass, and why it won't publish);
• your card is published.
