Publishing your pass, and why it won't publish
Pro + WalletPress Publish this pass once both tabs have their needed boxes filled and your own names in place of the sample; a line on the screen names any box that is still missing.
In your dashboard: Your Card > Wallet > the Your wallet pass panel > the Publish this pass button

Saving keeps your work. Publishing is what lets people add your pass, and it sends the new words to every pass already on a phone.
On the Apple tab, fill the needed boxes and press Save.
On the Google tab, do the same and press Save.
Press Publish this pass.
One press publishes both wallets. It saves what you have typed on the tab you are on first, so you do not need to press Save before it. The other tab goes out as you last saved it.
When it will not publish
- A needed box is empty. The screen says which tab and which boxes, such as "On the Google tab, fill: The title". On Apple the needed boxes are who the phone says the pass is from, the line iOS reads aloud and the big line; on Google, The title and The big line under the title.
- It is still the sample pass. A new account starts with a sample, and a sample is never handed out. The screen names the boxes that still say what the sample says. Put your own name and details in, press Save, then publish.
- The pass is retired. A retired pass cannot be added. Switch off Retire this pass and publish again. See Retiring a pass.
- Your plan does not include it. Designing and publishing need the Pro + Wallet plan. See Getting Pro + Wallet.
- You are not the account's owner. Only the owner can publish the pass.
Once it is published, the words beside the buttons read Published. If you save a change later, they read Saved · unpublished changes until you publish again.
