Retiring a pass
Pro + WalletSwitch on Retire this pass and press Publish: iPhones grey the pass out, Android moves it to the wallet's expired passes, and nobody new can add it.
In your dashboard: Your Card > Wallet > the Your wallet pass panel > the Switches group

Retiring stops the pass without taking it off anybody's phone. It is one switch for both wallets.
Open Wallet.
In the Your wallet pass panel, go to the group Switches on either tab.
Switch on Retire this pass and press Save.
Press Publish this pass.
After you publish, every phone that holds the pass gets the change:
- On an iPhone, Apple Wallet greys the pass out and stops updating it. That stays so on that phone.
- On Android, Google Wallet moves the pass to its expired passes.
- Nobody new can add it: the buttons stay shut and say the pass has been retired.
To hand it out again, switch Retire this pass off, press Save, then Publish this pass. On Android the pass comes back to the main list by itself. On an iPhone the greyed pass stays greyed, so people who had it add it again from your card to get the live one.
People who hold a retired pass can still delete it from their wallet whenever they like. See Can somebody remove my pass from their phone?.
