Is it safe for my number?
Pro + WhatsAppIt is not an official WhatsApp product, and WhatsApp can block any number at any time without saying why; that risk is yours, which is why the screen asks you to accept it first.
In your dashboard: People > WhatsApp > the Your number tab > the note Before you connect your WhatsApp number
Last updated
Before you connect, the screen shows a short note, Before you connect your WhatsApp number, and you must accept it. In plain words it says:
- This is not an official WhatsApp or Meta product, and they have not approved it.
- You connect your own number by scanning a code with your phone, the way WhatsApp Web works. The number stays yours.
- Using it this way may break WhatsApp's own rules. WhatsApp can block or ban any number at any time, and it does not say why.
- If your number is banned, that is your risk. We cannot get it back, and what you paid for the add-on is not returned for it.
- The messages are yours: you choose every word and every person, and you answer for them.
- We never message anyone first, and you can disconnect the number whenever you want.
We keep the risk down for you: messages go only to people who wrote to you first, they go out slowly and in the daytime, each message can be written three ways so people do not all get the same sentence, and a send to everyone stops by itself if messages keep failing.
You help most by keeping messages short and useful, and by not sending to everyone often.
