Why an automation has more than one wording
ProThe four ready-written messages come with three ways of saying each step, so your messages do not read like the same sentence sent again and again.

Four messages that send themselves come with their words written for you: When we have not spoken in a while, After an event, When my details change and Greetings at the holidays you pick. Each step has three wordings, shown under What it says.
- The hello after quiet days and the note after an event go to one person at a time. Each person gets one of the three, and their next hello in the series uses a different one, so nobody reads the same sentence twice in a row.
- The details-changed note and a holiday greeting go to everyone at once, so everybody gets the same wording that time, picked from the three.
A person who gets the same message twice is more likely to turn notifications off, and varied wording helps keep them listening.
The three you write yourself, the thank-you, the follow-up series and a message on a date, go out exactly as you wrote them.
