Exporting your canvas design

Export SVG saves the side you are looking at as a vector file that a designer can open, change and print at any size.

In your dashboard: Your Card > Print Design > Freeform Canvas > the Export SVG button

  1. If you designed on Print Design, press Save this design there first, so the canvas opens on it.

  2. Open Freeform Canvas.

  3. Choose Card Front or Card Back.

  4. Press Export SVG.

The file holds one side, with the 3 mm bleed and no cut marks. Your pictures travel inside it.

Take care

The SVG names its letter styles instead of drawing them, so the program that opens it needs the same styles, or it shows another one. For printing, send the PDF: see Will a printer have my lettering?.

The SVG is on the canvas only. Print Design and the canvas both offer the PDF, PNG, JPEG and the print-at-home sheet.
