Using the canvas with a finger or a stylus

The canvas works the same with a mouse, a finger or a stylus, and a larger screen such as a tablet makes it easier.

In your dashboard: Your Card > Print Design > Freeform Canvas > the Undo and Redo buttons

Dragging, resizing and turning work the same way with a mouse, a finger or a stylus. While you drag a piece the page does not scroll, and the drag carries on even if your finger slides off the card.

  • Press Show it bigger before you grab a small handle.
  • Without a keyboard, place a piece exactly with the Position X (mm) and Position Y (mm) boxes, and use the toolbar's Undo, Redo, Copy and Remove buttons.
  • Choosing several pieces at once needs Shift, Ctrl or Cmd held down, so on a phone or tablet move one piece at a time, or tap its row in Pieces on this side.
  • On a narrow screen the Inspector sits under the card: scroll down to it after you choose a piece.
