All plans

No advertising cookies and no trackers from other companies: only a sign-in cookie, one cookie on the print upload page, and a few small notes a card keeps in the visitor's browser.

When you use your dashboard

  • A sign-in cookie on www.visitingcards.store keeps you signed in.
  • While you manage your card, a second sign-in cookie on your card's own address does the same there.
  • The printed cards upload page sets one cookie that remembers you already gave your email there, so you are not asked again. It holds a number, never the email, and lasts 120 days.

When somebody opens a card

  • Their browser keeps a random number for the card, so the same phone or computer is counted once. It points to a browser, never to a person.
  • In the European Union, the UK, the wider EEA and Switzerland, a bar asks before a record of the visit is kept. The answer, No or Allow, is kept in the browser so they are not asked again. See Why a card asks me to "Allow".
  • The record of a visit uses its own random number, which lasts only while that browser tab is open.
  • A shopping cart on a card's store stays in the visitor's own browser until they place the order.

Other companies

A card loads nothing from other companies by itself. A video, a map or anything else you added from another site is drawn as a still, and loads from that site only when a visitor taps it; that site's own rules apply from then on.

On the sign-in and sign-up pages, Continue with Google and Continue with Apple hand you to Google or Apple if you press them, and the quick "I am human" check comes from one of our other suppliers or service providers.
