Visitor sessions, and why some visitors are missing
ProVisitor sessions lists one row per visit to your card; visitors in the EU, the UK, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway and Switzerland appear only after they allow it.
In your dashboard: Insights > Analytics > Visitor sessions

Visitor sessions is the list at the bottom of Analytics. Each row is one visit: one browser, from when it opens your card until that browser tab is closed.
- When: when the visit started.
- Country / city: where it came from.
- Device: iPhone, iPad, Android, Windows, Mac, Linux or other.
- Link: the tracked link that brought them, if one did.
- Visits: how many times, during that visit, your card was opened or something on it was pressed.
- Referrer: the website they came from, or Direct.
The list shows 50 visits a page, most recent first. Use Previous and Next to move between pages. It is not limited to the period chosen at the top. Visits are kept for 120 days, then removed.
Why some visitors are missing
- Visitors in the European Union, the UK, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway and Switzerland are recorded only after they allow it. Your card asks them with a small bar that has Allow and No. If they press No, or leave the bar alone, their visit is not recorded here. See Why a card asks me to "Allow".
- A visit is recorded when your card finishes opening in the visitor's browser. A preview of your link in a chat app, or a browser that stops the card from reporting back, is not a visit.
Visitors who are not recorded here still count in your views and your countries, which need no one's permission. They are missing only from what comes from the visit records: this list, the devices, the cities, your busiest times and the Profile Engaged step.
We never keep a visitor's internet address.
No visits yet? Either nobody has allowed it yet, or your first visitors are still to come. The list fills in on its own.
