Exporting your contacts to a spreadsheet

Pro

Press Export to CSV on People to download everyone who sent you their details as a file that opens in Excel, Numbers or Google Sheets.

In your dashboard: People > People > the Export to CSV button

Last updated

  1. Open People from the sidebar.

  2. Press Export to CSV at the top of the screen.

  3. Open the file that downloads in Excel, Numbers or Google Sheets.

The file has one row per entry, newest first, with these columns: Name, Phone, Email, Company, Message, Link and When. Link is the tracked link that brought them, if any, and When is the date and time they wrote. It carries up to 5,000 entries.

If nobody has written to you yet, the line under the button says so, and the file holds the column names only.

Who can download the list

Downloading is part of Pro, which is $0.99 a month. On the free plan the button is greyed and marked Pro feature, like the list itself: every message is kept, and People shows how many people wrote.

The account owner can download it, and on a company account so can its admins. Team members do not see People.

While your plan has lapsed, the people who wrote after it ended are left out of the file, as they are on the screen.

Good to know

These details belong to the people who gave them to you. Keep the file somewhere safe, and delete it when you no longer need it.

On a company account, the Team screen has its own Export to CSV with everyone who wrote to any seat. See Downloading everyone who wrote to your team.
