What changes about your own address when you start a team

Starting a team from your own account turns that account into your team account, with the same sign-in. The Team screen says what follows before you pay:

• Every person you invite gets their own address under yours, such as yourname.visitingcards.store/ali.
• Your own address itself becomes your company page instead of your card: your company's name, your logo, a short about and your contact buttons. See Your company page.
• The card you have now becomes the look every seat wears. See Setting the company look.
• Nothing you have made is deleted.

A card of your own on the team is a seat like everyone else's, taken with an email address that has no account with us yet.

Changing your team's address

If your address was made for one person, the owner can change it once the seats are paid for. It is at the bottom of Team, under Your team's address.

1. Type the new address in New address: 3 to 32 lowercase letters, numbers and dashes.

2. Press Change address, read what changes, and press Change it.

The old address keeps working and sends everyone to the new one, so printed cards and QR codes keep working. Everyone who holds a seat is emailed their card's new address and signs in again on it. An address can be changed only once; to change it again, write to us.
