The Publish button won't let me publish

All plans

Read the red line under the top bar: confirm your email first, add your name, or check the web addresses and colours, then press Publish again.

In your dashboard: Your Card > My Card > the Publish button at the top

When a publish is refused, a red line under the top bar of My Card says why. These are the lines, and what to do:

  • "Confirm your email address first." Your first publish waits until your email is confirmed. Open our confirmation email and press Continue, or send a fresh link with Send the confirmation link again in Settings. See The confirmation email hasn't arrived.
  • "Add your name first — a card with no name has nothing to show." Fill in Full Name and press Publish again.
  • "Something in the form was not accepted. Check the web addresses and colours." Look at every web address and colour you typed, correct the one that is wrong, and press Publish again.
  • "This account is switched off. Contact support and we will look at it." Write to us: see How do I get a person to look at my problem?.

While a save or a publish is running, both buttons are greyed for a moment and Publish says Publishing…. Wait for it to finish.

Published, but some changes are missing

On the free plan your card carries your name, your email and your phone number. If the answer says "the other changes were not kept on the free plan", everything else was left out on purpose. Pro, which is $0.99 a month, keeps every field. See What can I change on a free card?.
