My card is slow to open
All plansLarge pictures are the usual cause: we keep each picture as you upload it, so use smaller photos; videos and maps load only when somebody taps them.
In your dashboard: Your Card > My Card > the Publish changes button at the top

We keep each picture as you upload it, so a 5 MB photo takes a while to arrive on a phone with a weak signal.
Save smaller copies of your photo, logo and cover. A photo around 1,000 pixels wide looks sharp on any phone.
Upload the smaller copies in My Card and press Publish changes.
Open your card on your phone, on mobile data, to check.
- Gallery pictures load as the visitor scrolls down to them.
- A video, a map or anything from another site shows a still first, and loads only when somebody taps it, so those do not slow the card down.
- A card saved to a phone's home screen opens from its own icon. See Adding a card to your home screen.
